Week of April 4th
These pictures aren't spectacular, but they do capture PURE excitement! Over the past few weeks we have been "growing" butterflies and all three of my kiddos have loved every minute of it. We received 5 caterpillars in the mail and watched them grow and turn into chrysalides. After waiting about 5 days, they started to emerge as butterflies and a lot of time was spent watching them and picking flowers and leaves for them. We admired them for a few days before releasing them this week. It took some time for each one to make it up to the top and then fly away, but the amazement and excitement on the kids' faces when they did was priceless!
I wasn't quite ready and wish I hadn't cut Addie out of the picture a little!
