I met cute Kai last year for his first birthday and I can't believe an entire year has already passed by! He was a little shy at first and was definitely happiest with mom by his side, but he did warm up as the shoot went on. Once again he was a perfect little model and we got so many cute shots of this sweetheart. Happy 2nd Birthday Kai!

First of all, how amazing are Miss Olivia's bright blue eyes?! That is all natural folks and just as striking in person! I was so excited to meet this special little lady. She is about to celebrate her first birthday and is a heart surgery warrior. She also happens to be one of the happiest little babies I have ever met and I loved spending the morning with her. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

How cute is this birthday girl?! I loved meeting Mia....and her equally cute big sister. I also loved their adorable outfits :-)! I'm always surprised that the majority of babies don't devour their birthday cakes during cake smash sessions, but Mia was definitely into it which made it so fun. Happy Birthday sweet Mia!

First Family of Fall // Katy, TX Family Photographer

My first official fall family shoot of 2014 (even if it felt like summer)! And I was excited to start with this cute bunch, especially since they are some of my favorites :-). Our little boys are best buddies who share a love of legos and getting super silly. 

When we tried to do pictures of these kiddos during my spring minis Ryan wanted NO part of it and we ended up just doing birthday shots of cute Charlotte, so I didn't know what to expect this time around. And what do you know, Ryan was a champion picture taker and Charlotte proved to give us a run for our money. The only thing you can count on with kids is that they will be unpredictable :-).
